Monthly Meeting February 3rd, 2014

Place: The Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Japan
Address: Yurakucho Denki North Building 20F
Yurakucho 1-7-1, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, 100-0006
Programme: Lecture by Sister Eugenie Fumiko Fujita
Sister Eugenie Fumiko Fujita, who founded a Non-government organization called ESNAC (Educational Sponsorship of Needy Asian & African Children) in 1979, gave us a lecture about her volunteer work.
ESNAC is active in a number of Asian and African countries.
It operates through native coordinators mostly by priests and sisters as likely to be Muslim or Christian.
In Japan her new dream is to create an “ashram” where people can retreat from the world to find inner peace.
